At the end of each summer camp session, we always talk about "Taking Camp home with you" - I am delighted to announce that this school year we are launching a revamped after-school program that lets you take CAMP HOME WITH YOU all school year!

CAMP CLUB as a program that takes place after school hours and custom-tailored to your needs
"Cabin Groups" by age (Minis, Kinder Kids and Querencia boys/girls)
Staff to Camper ratios similar to our awesome summer program
Summer Camp Activities your child adores including archery, orienteering, camp games, arts and crafts, off-site adventures, pay it forward community volunteering, life and leadership lessons, rain or shine we are outside!

An ‘Outdoor Living Skills’ 8-week introductory program for youth in grades 3-6 who have an appreciation and love for the great outdoors. Through workshops, games and discussions our campers will dive into a different ‘outdoor living skill’ each week where they will have the opportunity to experientially develop their knowledge in how to care for oneself in the outdoors.
Areas of focus will be:
· Orienteering & compass reading
· Campfire building
· Knot tying
· Basic ecology
· Plant & tree identification
· Shelter building
· Minimum impact camping
· MUCH MORE!
*Level 2 will expand on this program for our campers wishing to continue growing their competency and skills in this area. More information to come.
SHINE - Youth Entrepreneurship Program - WEDNESDAYS
We've thought long and hard about this 'new program's name', as we have all of our programs, as a name speaks volumes to the integrity and intention of a program! Calling a group of kid entrepreneurs SHINE conveys a positive and inspiring message. Here is what this 'acronym' means to us :)
S - Striving: Reflects their effort and determination to achieve their goals in entrepreneurship.
H - Hardworking: Highlights their commitment to putting in the effort and diligence required for success.
I - Imaginative: Emphasizes their creativity and ability to think outside the box in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
N - Nurturing: Suggests a supportive and encouraging environment where kids support each other's growth and development.
E - Enterprising: Indicates their initiative and willingness to take on new challenges and opportunities.
This acronym reinforces a positive and dynamic image for the group, conveying the idea that these young entrepreneurs are not only hardworking but also imaginative and supportive, creating a space where their entrepreneurial aspirations can thrive and "shine" bright.
This program will go over 8 modules outlining the steps to building on your child's 'Idea' and walking them through the steps to bringing that idea to life by building their very own small business! We will end with a small 'Market' (supervised by Vanessa Doak) where they will be able to sell a few of the items/services that they'd built their business around, on the weekend following the end of the program.
Level 1 & Level 2 are being offered this Spring Season!
*You must have completed Level 1 to participate in Level 2
8-week program ~ April 10th - May 29th on Wednesdays
*Both Levels will run on the same day and will be lead by separate leaders who may alternate from week to week so that our campers get to work with both leaders.
