6th annual weekend-long leadership retreat for the girls

GIRLS LEADERSHIP RETREAT: Friday, June 14th - Sunday, June 16th
Girls in grades 1-9
$365
*All-inclusive weekend including transportation (bus + ferry) + a camp t-shirt for signing on our last day & a and VERY meaningful ‘take home’ craft/camp experience token.
*A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot with the full balance payment needing to be made 2 weeks before the program departure date – any accounts left unpaid will have their cards on file charged the balance owing 2 weeks before our departure date.
Who is this camp for?: Girls interested in developing and enhancing their leadership skills, ready to make some new friends and continue to grow the current bonds within their lives, those ready to drop into a vulnerable place and share, grow and learn from one another through activities and small workshops that will inspire and motivate our campers to ‘be the change’ & campers who are simply ready to have the BEST WEEKEND EVER!!

We will be heading back to Camp Bow-Isle located on Bowen Island

What is this weekend all about?: A Leadership Retreat where 8-10 campers will be placed in cabin groups, led by a counsellor, where we will build on the leadership skills we’ve been working on throughout our programs through camp activities such as:
Campfires, Rock Climbing (wall) Kayaking, Archery, Hiking, Crafts, Large and Small Group Games, Swimming (Polar Bear Dips!! brrr!), Mini workshops
And much more…
Why do we feel Leadership Retreats are a GREAT experience?: The overnight camping experiencing is like no other in that it allows for our campers to experience bonding and unity to a much deeper level than before! Being in a cabin group of 8-10 peers for an entire weekend where they will eat, sleep and play as one unit teaches our campers about the importance of acceptance, problem-solving, teamwork, compassion and sisterhood/brotherhood. The bonds created at camp are some of the strongest built friendships I know of and I’m VERY excited to create this experience for our girls!
How will we get there?: We will depart from camp in the Healthy Hearts, Healthy Minds bus at 4pm sharp in order to catch the 5:40 pm Ferry to Bowen Island (arriving to the terminal 30 mins before we set sail).
Your investment includes:
- All of your child’s meals for the duration of our retreat: Dinner Friday night, all meals and snacks Saturday, Breakfast, a snack & Lunch on Sunday
- Transportation including the ferry over to the Bowen Island
- 24-hour supervision
- A Leadership Retreat t-shirt
- All activities and program equipment for the weekend

Dreamscape is a program for ‘women’ who are interested in self-discovery/rediscovery, wellness in both mental health and the physical health areas of our lives, sisterhood and who are overall excited about the idea of ‘living beyond limits’ surrounded by an inspiring group of women on that same ‘life journey’. We offer workshops, social gatherings and much more!

*We will head back to Squamish after a BEAUTIFUL 'Mother's Day' Breakfast - imagine waking up on Mother's Day to a big group of inspiring women!? - so that families still have the afternoon to spend time celebrating their lovely Mothers!
$300 for the full weekend
*Single-day option available (May 11th) - $150
*All-inclusive weekend including transportation (bus + ferry) for full weekend registrations
--> If you are someone who is registering for the whole weekend but would like to drive your own car to ferry and back then you're more than welcome to do so and your ferry costs will still be covered as a 'walk-on'.

How will we get there?: We will depart from camp in the Healthy Hearts, Healthy Minds bus at 4/5pm sharp to catch either the 5:45pm or 6:50pm Ferry to Bowen Island (arriving at the terminal 30 mins before we set sail).
Your investment includes:
- All of your child’s meals for the duration of our retreat: Dinner on Friday night, all meals and snacks on Saturday, Breakfast and a pre-departure snack on Sunday morning
- Transportation including the ferry over to Bowen Island
- All activities and program equipment for the weekend
